Myanmar (formerly Burma) is a Southeast Asian nation of more than 100 ethnic groups, bordering India, Bangladesh, China, Laos and Thailand. Yangon (formerly Rangoon), the country’s largest city, is home to bustling markets, numerous parks and lakes, and the towering, gilded Shwedagon Pagoda, which contains Buddhist relics and dates to the 6th century.

Day 01

Arrival at Yangon International Airport. After checking through Passport Control & Customs, you will meet your guide and your driver. Transfer to your hotel. During your stay in Yangon, you can visit the following points of interest: Sightseeing tour in Yangon: visit the City center landmark Sule Pagoda, Mahabandoola Park & downtown of Yangon, with the best preserved colonial architectural heritage in all of the former British Raj. • Lunch and dinner in Hotel • Visit to Chaukhtat Gyi, the biggest reclining Buddha image in Myanmar. Visit the famous Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the oldest and most venerable of all places of worship in South East Asia. Visit the People’s Park and the Cultural Valley. Visit the Kandawgyi Park and the Kareweik Palace.

Day 2
Proceed to Bago

• Early morning, you will board your tour bus and head towards Bago. Visit the Shwethalyaung Buddha, one of the largest reclining Buddha images in the world. • The Shwemawdaw Paya, the tallest pagoda in Myanmar (375 feet), one of the most famous Mon pagodas, built in 10 th century CE. • Lunch in Bago, at a local restaurant After Lunch continue trip to Kinpun Camp. • Arrive at Kinpun Camp, the base camp for Kyaik Hti Yoe. • From base camp, travel by open truck up to the top of the Kyaik Hti Yoe mountain. • After visit the pagoda and take leisure and meditation time, will go down to KinPun camp and continue to Naypyitaw.

Day 03

After Breakfast, Drive in Naypitaw. •Proceed to Mandalay, Lunch on the way at a local restaurant. •Visit the ruins of Amarapura and the U Bein bridge, the longest teak bridge in the world.

Day 04

Visit the Royal Palace and the amazing Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung (golden palace) monastery – a superb example of a traditional wooden building . • Visit the Kuthodaw Pagoda, with the largest book in the world, engraved in 730 stone slabs. Enjoy the marvelous handicraft of marble and silk artists of Mandalay. • Sunset on the Mandalay Hill. Dinner at Local restaurant.

Day 05
Proceed to Bagan

After Breakfast, Drive visit Mahagandhayon Monastery. • Lunch at Local Restaurant proceed to Bagan after completing remaining sights from above

Day 06

After Breakfast, Drive to the ancient city and former capital of the Kingdom of Bagan. Visit, among many other destinations, the following points of interest: • Shwezigon pagoda – the prototype for later Myanmar Pagodas built by king Anawrahta; • Ananda temple – King Kyansitha’s masterpiece and the crowning achievement of the early style temple architecture; •Dhamanyangyi temple – the most massive temple of Bagan •Kyansitha Umin, a cave temple featuring ancient paintings, another masterful project built probably during Anawratha’s rule; •Thatbyinnyu temple – the highest building on the Bagan plain; •Htilominlo temple – the largest of the temples of Bagan. • Shwesandaw pagoda or Bu Phaya • Lunch and dinner at representative local restaurants. •Visit local workshops and villages.

Day 07
Popa mountain

Breakfast at hotel. • After breakfast, day trip, together with your guide, to Mount Popa which stands as an extinct Volcano, about 1518 meters high. Mount Popa has an outstanding role in Myanmar culture, religion and history since earliest times. Its shrines are dedicated to the Worship of the specific Nat, the Burmese Ancient Animist Spirits. You’ll have a unique opportunity to learn about Nat and Natworshiping by climbing the stairs to the top of Mountain. From the top of the Volcanic Peak, you will enjoy the breathtaking view of the Myin Gyan Plain. •On the way, visit a palm field and observe brown sugar and palm wine production. • Traditional lunch at Palm Tree Hut. (Country Style) • After visit Mount popa, back to Bagan and leisure time.

Day 08
Pindaya Caves

•Early morning after Breakfast, Drive to Pindaya caves. •After seen the Pindaya caves we will proceed to Inle lake, a sweet-water Lake, situated at relatively high altitude (880m) in the Shan Hills. •Free and Easy at Nyaung Shwe , bank of Inle Lake.

Day 09
Inle lake

•After breakfast, start a boat trip on the Inle lake. Visit, among other things, the following: • The floating gardens and the floating market; • The Phaung Daw Oo, an 18 th century Buddhist shrine of major importance in Myanmar. • Dropping in at the Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, and see it’s jumping cats. • Visiting the Impawkhon, where you will experience the craft (and art) of weaving lotus, one of the most expensive textiles on Earth,as well as silk, cotton and other mind-bogging applications of Myanmar craftsmanship. •Lunch will be served at a restaurant on the lake. •Return to the hotel. Dinner in one of the many restaurants in Nyaung Shwe.

Day 10
Back to Yangon

•After an early breakfast, your driver will pick you up from your Nyaung Shwe hotel. Drive to Taunggyi. • Visit the Aye Thar Yar wine factory on the way. • Taunggyi to Yangon overnight in Hotel in Yangon

Day 11
Shopping and Back to Sri Lanka

•Breakfast at Hotel. • Bogyoke market for somequick shopping and lunch. • Airport Transfer
